things i will miss about peru:
- walking down the street and having every taxi honk and stop and ask if you want a ride
- sketchy unmarked taxis that ask if you want a ride…
- getting yelled at by busses to suba
- my roommate, keeley
- my host family
- kuno
- my host family yelling at us for not wearing shoes
- only being allowed to drink room temperature or hot beverages because its “winter”
- having rice and potatoes with every meal (no wont actually miss them)
- la costa verde
- coming home after a long night out with black feet
- getting hit on by Renzo, our neighborhood police officer on his bike
- all my peruvian friends
- walking 20 min to school every day with keeley and karina and talking about our ridiculous night before
- sitting through 6 hours of ancient peruvian art history and latin american history every friday
- being yelled at “que lindos ojos” o “gringa” on the street
- living in a neighborhood with almost every embassy
- trying to communicate with our maid andrea and her understanding nothing we are saying
